OVERVIEW

The goal of this project was to create a flight reservation service that makes an onward ticket reservation in a matter of minutes.

PROBLEM

A flight reservation is among the documents that the embassy of a country you travel to may ask you for. A traveller might end up paying for a ticket even tho they might end up with no legal permit to travel due to some circumstances.

SOLUTION

Onward Ticket lets you get actual flight proof without buying a confirmed ticket. It's the safest way to save up and get your money back if your visa application gets rejected or book a ticket that you'll easily buy in case of a positive result.

IMPACT

Most airline companies offer valid air tickets, which are completely refundable, but the thing is that they are way more expensive than standard tickets. They might also charge you a fee to cancel the flight and get your money back. Depending on the airline, the refunding will take from a few days to a few weeks. Onward ticket lets you travel stress-free in a matter of minutes.
